When my wife Sydney and I decided to pursue IVF to start our family, we knew it would be expensive. Like many couples facing fertility challenges, we were willing to do whatever it took. That's when I (TJ) dusted off my 3D printer and started creating custom prints to sell online.
What began as a side hustle to help fund our IVF treatments quickly turned into something special. Every custom keychain, every personalized planter, every unique creation wasn't just a product—it was a step closer to our dream of parenthood.
Finding Joy in the Journey
As orders came in, something unexpected happened. We started receiving messages from customers telling us how much they loved their custom prints. People shared stories about giving our creations as gifts and seeing their loved ones light up with joy.
We realized we weren't just making objects—we were helping people create meaningful moments. That sense of purpose, that joy we were bringing to others, became addictive. Even as we worked toward our goal of starting a family, we fell in love with the process of creating.

After successfully completing our IVF journey (and welcoming our beautiful first child!), we had a decision to make. We could have stopped there, mission accomplished. But the truth was, we didn't want to stop. We loved what we were doing.
So we made the leap. We invested in better equipment, refined our processes, and turned Swift Gifts from a side project into a full-fledged business. We moved to Cookeville, Tennessee, set up a proper workshop, and committed ourselves to creating custom 3D prints that bring joy to people's lives.
